Vladyslav Vashchuk, a former defender of Dynamo and the Ukrainian national team and a National Guard soldier, has commented on the partial admission of Russians to the 2024 Olympics in Paris.
Vladyslav Vashchuk- I do not understand Russian athletes who will go to the Olympics. What do they want to convey to us? They came to us with war and after that they want to communicate somewhere in Paris, Ireland or Iceland? There is no communication with them. Our athletes should go. We should participate, let them be afraid, not us. Therefore, both the Olympic Committee and all other committees should conclude for themselves that we should participate in these competitions for them not to come," Vashchuk told Deutsche Welle.
