Negotiations between former Dynamo Kyiv head coach Mircea Lucescu and Turkish side Besiktas have ended with a positive result, former Romanian national team goalkeeper Florin Prunia said.
Recall that the day before the general director of the Istanbul club Saimet Aibaba had a telephone conversation with the 78-year-old specialist, after which he travelled to Romania for further negotiations with Lucescu.
According to Prunia, the meeting in Bucharest between Aibaba and Lucescu led to a co-operation agreement and the former Dynamo coach's appointment at Besiktas could be officially announced within the next few hours.
"I have been told that everything has already been decided in this matter and a dot could be put on it by the end of today," DigiSport quoted Pruni as saying.
