Cluj have introduced the "Konoplyanka rule" after the Ukrainian's departure

The Romanian club Cluj have introduced a rule "in the name of Ukrainian midfielder" Yevhen Konoplyanka, who earlier scandalously left the club.

According to Fanatik.ro, the club signed Omar El Kaddouri after the Ukrainian's departure. The attacking midfielder will earn €15,000 per month in the first year, with the salary gradually increasing in the following years of the contract - €20,000 per month in the second year and €22,000 in the final year of the contract.

However, the "Konoplyanka's rule" was introduced in the terms of the contract - if the player does not play 10 matches in the season, the club can terminate the contract unilaterally.

Earlier in "Cluj" spoke about Konoplyanka's constant injuries, because of which he could not go on the field. The Ukrainian, in turn, called it a lie.

We will remind, Konoplyanka played for the Romanian club since the summer of 2023. His agreement with the club was calculated until 2025. In the current season, the footballer took part in four matches and did not score.
