Well-known journalist Serhiy Tyshchenko commented on rumours that Dynamo Kyiv is interested in Ukrainian defender Taras Kacharaba of Slavia Prague.

Kacharaba has the most important thing for Czech football - the ability to fight in the face-off. Everyone has seen the matches between Zorya and Dnipro-1 against Slavia. In tactical terms, the Czechs are more hockey than football.
Today Kacharaba is 29 years old. He's frankly no longer up to Slavia's level. In fact, he does not play there. His contract is for another year. The Czechs don't mind getting rid of him somewhere, as long as they can earn something. What can Kacharaba give to Dynamo Kyiv? Nothing. He's not stronger than Dyachuk or Popov, he's just older.
The player's interests are represented by the Part of the Game agency. They handle the cases of Anatolii Trubin, Valerii Bondar, and Dmytro Kryskiv. In fact, the head of the agency is Yura Danchenko, who is the unofficial sporting director of MX-1925. This office has no connection with Dynamo.
It turns out that Kacharaba is a very mediocre player who is no better than the current Dynamo defenders. But he is no longer ready to make serious progress. At the same time, the agent factor does not provide prerequisites for a possible transfer. The player's agents have no ties to Dynamo. The only thing that could be involved is Zakhovailo's connection with Kyiv's chief scout, Golokolosov. Therefore, such a proposal may indeed exist, but its reality is quite small. Shovkovsky was intended for something else. It is more likely that Kacharaba will have an MX-1925 for Skrypnyk's new project," Serhii wrote in Telegram.
