Well-known journalist and insider Ihor Burbas spoke about some of the plans of the Ukrainian national team for the coming summer.
"The Ukrainian national team is in talks with the Moldovan national team about a sparring match. Both sides are focused on holding it on 11 June in Chisinau. Our potential opponent lost the chance to qualify for the European Championships, but is remembered for a spectacular strong-willed victory over Poland. From 0-2, they turned the match around to 3-2.
By the way, this is not the only friendly game our national team plans to play in early summer. If Serhii Rebrov's team successfully qualifies for Euro 2024, it will essentially be a dress rehearsal before the tournament. It will take place in Germany and will start on 14 June. But to reach the European forum, the Ukrainians need to go through two play-off rounds. First, on 21 March, to defeat Bosnia and Herzegovina, and then on 26 March, the winner of the Israel-Iceland match," Burbas wrote on Telegram.
