Former Dynamo Kyiv player and coach Oleksandr Khatskevich has spoken about the reasons for Valentin Belkevich's death.

I know very well what happened next, but I don`t want to talk about it, because there are quite famous people involved. Valik was sacked, his contract expired, and someone did not want to renew it. I know who, but I won`t say. You can say that Belkevych fell into a hole after that, and I could not get him out.
I had a contact with the club president, with his brother, but there was not enough time. We had already agreed on everything and Belkevych knew that he would come back. But he got so deep into the hole that, probably, he decided for himself that he would not come back. What hole? Depression, alcohol and so on. But you can't get it back," Khatsekevich said on the air of Youtube-channel "Life Raspberry".
