"Everyone knows what I think - this tournament is not about sport, it's about something else. We will just take the money and run away. With all the problems that arise from the tight match schedule, we are making a four-team Super Cup.

If modern football is such an evolution, I'm happy to be old-fashioned. The Super Cup is a trophy used by a coach so he can say he has won something. This tournament does not help the club develop. I would like to win something that would help the club. But despite this, we have to travel 6,000 kilometres, so we will do our best," Sarri was quoted as saying by Football Italia.

Lazio will meet Inter in the semi-finals of the tournament. The match will take place on 19 January in Riyadh.
