"Taras Stepanenko will extend his contract with Shakhtar. The current one expires next summer. The new agreement will be valid for another year, that is, until the end of next season," journalist Ihor Burbas said on his telegram channel.
This season, the 34-year-old midfielder played in 18 matches, 6 of which were in the Champions League.
