Former Liverpool player: "If Firmino joins Chelsea, I won't wish him luck"

Former Liverpool footballer John Aldridge has commented on Chelsea's interest in Al Ahly striker Roberto Firmino. The Brazilian forward previously played for Liverpool.

"I was surprised when I read about Firmino and Chelsea. He has done a lot for Liverpool, so if Roberto wants to do this, then let him. As for Chelsea, they need everyone, they have no idea what they are doing. Will Firmino's reputation among Liverpool fans suffer if he moves to Chelsea? Maybe a little bit.

But the fans will never forget what he did for the club. No matter what happens, if Bobby goes there, I won't wish him luck because I don't like Chelsea. I hope Firmino scores every game and Chelsea loses every game," Aldridge wrote in a column for the Liverpool Echo.
