Lviv's Karpaty were denied a request from the Ministry of Youth and Sports to allow the team to go to Spain for a training camp.
The rules for crossing the state border during martial law state that only teams in the top divisions of competitive sports can obtain such permission. And since Karpaty do not play in the UPL, the Ministry of Youth and Sports cited the lack of legal grounds to resolve this issue.
The Lviv club's training camp begins on 22 January, and the club planned to travel to Spain for a friendly tournament.
