Atletico Madrid defender Cesar Azpilicueta will miss about three months due to an injury he sustained in the cup match against Real Madrid.
According to Sport.es, the 34-year-old defender suffered a torn external meniscus. A decision will be made on the format of Aspilicueta's treatment in the near future. Thus, the player will miss 8 to 12 weeks.
It will be recalled that Cesar Azpilicueta appeared on the pitch in extra time, in the 106th minute, but was forced to be replaced in the 116th minute.
