Al Nasr forward Cristiano Ronaldo has said he has no plans to return to the Portuguese league, where he started his career with Sporting:
"Going back to play in the Portuguese league is pointless now. I will be 39 in a few days and I will finish this season, which is ongoing, and then spend another year at Al Nasr. That's what I want the most right now.
And when I turn 40, as my friend José Semedo jokingly says, we'll see what happens. If I play at this level until I'm 40, it will be fantastic.
After that, if everything goes well, at 41 or 42.... nobody really knows. But the possibility of playing now in Portugal is out of the question," Ronaldo said.
