The head of Lokomotiv Kyiv, Oleksandr Yegorov, told UWN about the details and consequences of the Russian army's missile strike on the club's infrastructure.
"When the air raid alarm sounded, there were already people in the building. They went down to the ground floor, to the gym. But it so happened that it was in the epicentre of the hit and two of them were injured. One is in critical condition, now in a coma, and doctors are fighting for his life. We hope that he will be fine. Another girl suffered a serious head injury. Thank God, she is regaining consciousness and let's hope that everyone will be alive.
It's good that this did not happen at a time when the stadium is crowded with children. There can be up to 200-250 visitors and athletes here at the same time, because the territory is very large. I don't even want to talk about it... This is a civilian sports facility and children are here, playing sports and trying to feel that life in Ukraine does not end. But we are not broken!" said Yegorov.
