Bayer Leverkusen head coach Xabi Alonso answered the question that he could be one of the candidates to replace Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool.
"To be honest, I don't have a direct answer. I am happy here now and I am focused on working with Bayer Leverkusen," journalist Fabrizio Romano quoted Xabi Alonso as saying on his Twitter page.
The Spanish specialist took over as head of Bayer in October 2022. Under his leadership, the "pharmacists" have not lost a single match this season and are leading the Bundesliga with a 4-point lead over Bayern Munich.
