Zidane rejects offer to coach African national team

Former Real Madrid head coach Zinedine Zidane has refused to lead the African national team.

According to L'Equipe, the 51-year-old has recently been offered the job of coaching the Algerian national team. An offer that could have been of interest to Zidane because of his Algerian heritage. However, in the end, he turned it down.

The Algerian national team is now looking for a new coach after Jamel Belmadi resigned. His team finished fourth in the group stage of the African Cup of Nations.

It should be noted that Zinedine has also turned down coaching offers from Brazil and the United States. According to reports, Zinedine's top priority is the French national team.
