The recently reported information that former Dynamo Kyiv head coach Mircea Lucescu may take charge of Italian Roma has been confirmed.
According to Orange Sport, the 78-year-old specialist is indeed considering the possibility of signing a contract with the Romans in the coming summer, and has even held the first round of negotiations with representatives of Roma.
Earlier, Lucescu repeatedly stated that he was going to continue his coaching career, but emphasised that he did not want to start work with a new team in the middle of the season.
