Shakhtar's sporting director Dario Srna commented on the appointment of former Ukraine national team coach Andriy Shevchenko as the UAF president.

"I would like to congratulate Andriy Shevchenko, a legend of Ukrainian football, our friend who has become the President of the UAF.
