Italy's AC Milan have set an unusual club anti-achievement in an Italian league match.
According to the twitter account OptaPaolo, the Rossoneri failed to convert two penalties in one match for the first time since 2004, when such statistics began to be studied.
Stefano Pioli's team failed to score from 11-metres in the game against Bologna. First, Olivier Giroud failed to convert a penalty in the 42nd minute, and then in the 75th minute Theo Hernandez failed to convert his chance into a goal.
That said, it's worth noting that AC Milan aren't the first club in Serie A to do such a thing. In 2016, two 11-metre chances in the same game were not realised by Capri, with the same player, namely Jerry Mbakogu, doing the same.
