In an attempt to change the dynamic of the game, Napoli made their first substitution in the 60th minute when D. Demme was replaced by G. Gaetano. Lazio responded in the 71st minute, replacing M. Lazzari with L. Pellegrini.
The match continued to sparkle when Lazio made two more substitutions in the 77th minute, bringing on M. Guendouzi and M. Vecino. Napoli also made a substitution, with G. Raspadori replacing K. Ngonge in the 79th minute, and with only ten minutes left on the clock, Napoli made a third substitution, with M. Rui replacing P. Mazzocchi. Meanwhile, Lazio's D. There were also changes in the Lazio line-up, with G. Isaksen replacing Pedro and D. Cataldi replacing N. Rovella. As the game entered a decisive phase, Napoli's L. Ostigard was cautioned with a yellow card in the 90th minute, providing a dramatic end to the match. Despite their best efforts, Lazio and Napoli failed to score, ending the game in a goalless draw. Despite the poor result for both teams, the match showed the tenacity and skill of Lazio and Napoli. The players fought as hard as they could, but the defence lines and goalkeepers stood firm, shutting down all goal-scoring opportunities.
