Liverpool centre-back Virgil van Dijk has spoken about his future at the Merseyside club. The Dutch footballer's current contract with the Reds runs until the summer of 2025.
"This is an important question. I don't know. I have 18 months left in my contract? That's right, you did the maths correctly. Look, I just don't know. The club has a lot of work to do. It's a well-known fact. The coach will have to be replaced, all the staff will have to leave the team. A lot will change. So, the club will have to do a lot, and I'm very interested in the direction the club will go. When it becomes known what changes Liverpool will make, the question of the contract will become relevant. But now I can't say anything," The Athletic quoted Van Dijk as saying.
