"Keeping the squad intact and making the best team possible with the players available would be the best option for me. But at the same time, we are in the early days of the club's future and we want to make the right decisions in terms of financial fair play.

We do not want to violate the rules of financial fair play. And so I will support decisions that are made for the long term and that will benefit the club. The prospect of not having any newcomers in the winter window is becoming more real with each passing hour. We probably won't buy anyone unless we sell," Howe was quoted as saying by the Independent.
