Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih head coach Yurii Vernydub shared his thoughts withUVabout the European careers of Viktor Tsygankov and Artem Dovbyk.
- Did you expect Tsygankov and Dovbyk to be so spectacular in La Liga with little or no training?
- For me, Dovbyk is a super footballer and a human being. The level of football he shows in La Liga is worth a lot. I sincerely wish him health, inspiration and that this season he becomes the best scorer and player in the Spanish league.
I can say the same about Tsygankov. It's a pity that Viktor is often plagued by injuries, just like at Dynamo. I want God to give him health and avoid injuries. Dovbyk and Tsygankov show a very high level, and I am happy for these guys that they glorify our mother Ukraine.
- Are Dovbyk and Tsygankov ready for the top clubs?
- 100%. They have already passed La Liga, which is a difficult level. I would really like them to move to a major European championship. I will be rooting for them.
- Girona belongs to the Manchester City holding. If we imagine that the Citizens buy Dovbyk, will he be ready to compete with Holland?
- It's a difficult question. If I were Artem, I wouldn't make such a move right away. You can go to Manchester City, but it's not a given that Dovbyk will play. In my opinion, Holland is the best striker in the world right now and he should have won the Ballon d'Or, not Messi.
- But Real Madrid, with Benzema's departure to Saudi Arabia, have no winger.
- I agree. Bellingham is more of a second striker who plays in the top ten position. Vinicius and Rodrigo are wingers. I think that Dovbyk would have the opportunity to prove himself at Real Madrid.
