Celta head coach Rafael Benitez says he knows the real reasons behind Jurgen Klopp's decision to leave Liverpool and that the German coach's resignation did not come as a surprise to him.
"I have the advantage that I have my people in Liverpool and at the club. So I know more or less how it happened. I know something from the inside, so I wasn't shocked.
He comes out and says it, giving the club time to reorganise. It's very German, because they tell you in advance.
I have only positive things to say about Klopp because he is my friend and I have a good relationship with him. He has done and is doing a great job. Everything I can say about Klopp and Liverpool is positive," Benitez was quoted as saying by Goal.
