Al Ittihad striker Karim Benzema will not leave the Saudi club in the winter, according to The Athletic.
The 36-year-old striker will remain at the Jeddah-based club as the closing day of the winter transfer window in Saudi Arabia approaches.
Earlier, the Frenchman was 17 days late in arriving at Al Ittihad, which angered the club. He was suspended from the team's training camp, although Karim's entourage claimed that the reason for the delay was a "cyclone in Mauritius".
