At the start of the half, Pascal Estupinan and Franco Buonanotte took the field in place of Tariq Lamptey and Ethan Ferguson respectively. However, the Luton defence remained relentless, giving Brighton no chance to get back into the game.
In the 56th minute, Luton effectively sealed the match with another goal. Adebayo completed his hat-trick, leaving the Brighton defence in disarray. This goal not only secured the win for Luton, but also demonstrated their attacking superiority throughout the match. Both teams continued to make changes: in the 61st minute Brighton released Billy Gilmore in place of Chris Baleba, and in the 68th minute Luton made a double substitution, releasing Albert Sambi Lokonga and Andy Townsend in place of A.
