Andre: "I turned down Napoli in favour of Dynamo, now I regret it"

Former Dynamo Kyiv striker Andre told how he made a decision to move to the Ukrainian club.

- In 2010, I had three offers: from Dynamo Kyiv, Napoli and a German club. Economically, the option with Dynamo was the best, even compared to Napoli. And I did not know where Naples was, I had never heard of it.

I remember the Napoli representative told me about their city, about the beach. I was not impressed, I had a beach in Brazil. Then the Italians started to persuade me to come to Naples, promising that I would really like it there, saying that the city was incredible. But I refused, I said that I had already made a choice in favour of Dynamo. Among other reasons, because Napoli's offer was noticeably worse in financial terms. That's how I did not move to Napoli, and Cavani ended up there instead....

Over time, I was in Naples with my wife and fell in love with the city. I regret that I turned it down then. I said to her at the time: "You won't believe it, but once I refused to go to this city. And now I want to live here," - quotes Andre NapoliNetwork.
