"Napoli announced on its official website that it has extended the contract with winger Matteo Politano.
The Italian player's new deal will be valid until the summer of 2027. Earlier, journalist Nicolo Scira reported on Twitter that under the new contract, the 30-year-old will earn €3.4 million a year.
It is worth noting that Politano rejected the offer of the Saudi club Al Shabab, which offered an annual salary of €9 million for three years.
This season, Matteo has played 29 matches for Napoli in all competitions, scoring seven goals and providing five assists.
