The Thai police have warned Liverpool fans about fraudsters posing as Bayer Leverkusen head coach Xabi Alonso.
The essence of this scam is that someone on behalf of Alonso (from a verified Instagram account) writes that he will replace Klopp as Liverpool coach, but he needs 300 baht (7.85 euros) to buy a plane ticket to England:
"I am Xabi Alonso, I will take over Liverpool next season, but I don't have enough money to fly to Liverpool," the Bombardier telegram channel quoted DW as saying.
