Rukh captain Marko Sapuga suffered a serious injury in yesterday's friendly match against Austrian Sturm.
A further medical examination confirmed that Marko had a torn anterior cruciate ligament.
According to doctors, the estimated recovery time from this injury is 7-8 months. Rukh's doctors do not rule out an early return to training, given the player's young age. However, even under these conditions, the Rukh captain will not be able to help his team this season. Next week, Mark will undergo surgery in Warsaw with one of the leading sports medicine surgeons in Europe.
