Grealish replacing two players in the 76th minute. As the game entered the closing stages, both teams continued to struggle and yellow cards were given to Ederson in the 76th minute and J. Burnley made their final substitutions in the 87th minute, bringing on H. Massengo and A. Alves. Massengo and A. Al Dakhil in an attempt to save the game. Manchester City also made two late substitutions in the 87th minute, replacing Rodri and J. Alvarez with M. Kovacic and S. Gomez. However, it was Burnley who managed to get back on track in the 90th minute when A. Al-Dakhil struck the visitors' goal for a consolation goal. Overall, Manchester City proved to be the dominant force in this Premier League match, earning a comfortable victory over Burnley. Goals from J. Alvarez and Rodri, as well as their strong play throughout the match ensured their success at the Etihad Stadium.
