Former Shakhtar Donetsk player Gennadiy Orbu, who fled to the territory of the aggressor country at the very beginning of Russia's war against Ukraine, will now be part of Russian football.
Orbu has been appointed head coach of Russian second league club Zvezda (St Petersburg). This has been officially announced.
Interestingly, in the previous coaching staff of this team worked two more collaborators - Gennady Zubov and Vitaly Vitsenets. In addition, it was to Zvezda that Oleksandr Rosputko, a midfielder of the club's youth team, recently escaped from Shakhtar Donetsk.
