Girona's sporting director Kike Carcelle spoke about the situation with the possible departure of the team's coach, Michel Sanchez, to another club after the end of this season.
"Michel Sanchez is doing very well. Now we are focused on the fight against Real Madrid. Michel wants to work out his deal, but in football a lot can change very quickly. He is very happy and I am sure he believes that his next step is here at Girona. Otherwise, we would be in a different situation, but he is 100% focused on our team," Lesportiudecatalunya.cat quoted Carcel as saying.
