The Spanish publication has published an article dedicated to striker Roman Yaremchuk, who currently plays for Valencia.

On Saturday, 3 February, the match of the 23rd round of the Spanish La Liga between Valencia and Almeria will be played. The match starts at 15:00 Kyiv time.

On the eve of this match, Deportevalenciano published an article dedicated to the Bats' striker Roman Yaremchuk, summing up the interim results.

"Yaremchuk is having a miserable time in Valencia, the striker hasn't quite fitted in with the Barca team, despite a long adaptation process. Roman arrived in Valencia after a difficult period in football, hoping to find the right path in the Spanish La Liga to turn his career around.

Obviously, his signing didn't raise too many expectations, but the player deserved credit."

The publication noted that in the months since the 28-year-old Ukrainian forward joined Valencia, his performance has not progressed.

"Several months have passed since his arrival, Yaremchuk played intermittently, and when he did play, he was not particularly effective.

During this time, he was able to score only one league goal, and the worst thing is that after his debut against Celta (actually against Real Sociedad (0-1) - ed.), he was unable to improve his statistics, despite a good game against Valencia. His game was the opposite of Hugo Duro's evolution."

An additional obstacle to Yaremchuk's unravelling in Valencia may be the transfer of Sevilla's Spanish striker Rafa Mir, who was disrupted at the last minute during the January transfer window.

"Yaremchuk has almost half a season to improve his disappointing form, and he could well face more competition if Rafa Mir eventually arrives at the Mestalla.

"Valencia don't get their attacking players right, and Yaremchuk is the best example of this: the Ukrainian is finding it difficult to fit in."
