Herve Renard may lead the Egyptian national team

The leadership of the Egyptian Football Federation is negotiating the appointment of Herve Renard as head coach, who is currently working with the French women's national team.

According to Kora Plus, Egypt has started negotiations with the 55-year-old specialist. "The Pharaohs were eliminated from the African Cup of Nations at the last 16 stage by DR Congo in a penalty shootout, which resulted in Rui Vitoria's resignation as the team's head coach.

Renard has managed five national teams in his career: Zambia, Angola, Côte d'Ivoire, Morocco and Saudi Arabia. The French specialist has won the Africa Cup of Nations twice with Zambia and Côte d'Ivoire, becoming the first coach to win the tournament with two different teams.
