"UEFA won't do without us," - Russian coach

Former Spartak Moscow head coach Valery Gladilin thinks UEFA will have to allow Russian teams back into international competitions sooner or later.

"The upcoming friendly match between the Russian national team and Serbia will not be a bridge for a return, but sooner or later we will be back. Political issues will someday fall away. Without Russia in UEFA will not do without Russia," Russian media quoted Gladilin as saying.

We shall remind you that immediately after Russia's attack on Ukraine, Russian clubs and national teams were expelled from all international competitions.
