Shakhtar Donetsk's Brazilian defender Marlon, currently playing on loan for Fluminense, is currently negotiating with the Brazilian club on the possibility of extending the agreement.
Marlon does not want to return to the UPL. The defender is in the process of negotiations with Fluminense in order to agree on a contract extension and avoid a return to Shakhtar.
The player's agreement with Fluminense is valid until 30 June, after which the player can return to Shakhtar if the FIFA regulation on temporary changes to the rules regarding foreigners during the period of hostilities is not extended.
According to journalist Victor Lessa, the Brazilian club are interested in keeping Marlon in the team in the future. To achieve this goal, the club plans to hold talks with Shakhtar, possibly waiting for a final decision on Article 7 Annexe.
