In the 78th minute, as the game was nearing its conclusion, Atalanta's Ederson received a yellow card. Sensing that victory was close, Atalanta made two more substitutions, replacing C. De Ketelare with L. Muriel and M. Pasalic with R. Toloi in the 79th minute. However, Lazio were not willing to give up without a fight and a penalty was awarded in the 84th minute. In the final minutes of the game Atalanta made a last substitution, replacing Ederson with L. Mendicino to keep control of the situation and bring the game to victory. When the referee blew the final whistle, Atalanta celebrated a well-deserved 3-1 victory over Lazio, showing their strength and determination. This Serie A match showed Atalanta's attacking prowess, solid defence and ability to make effective substitutions. Lazio, on the other hand, showed glimpses of their potential, but ultimately failed to win against their opponents.
