Shakhtar Donetsk head coach Marino Pušić spoke about his team's preparations for the clash with French side Marseille in the play-off round for the right to reach the last 16 of the Europa League.
"Preparing for the confrontation with Marseille? On Sunday, the players had a day off, because both sparring matches were difficult, the guys worked hard. In many aspects, our preparations started from the first match. We will make a lot of effort over the next two weeks, working on many things to be ready for the match against Marseille. We know that friendly matches are not ideal preparation, but we have what we have. We have to find the best way out of the situation and prepare for the official matches," Pushic was quoted as saying by Shakhtar's official website.
