Czech Republic midfielder Vaclav Cerny shared his reaction to the draw for the 2024/25 Nations League, according to the results of which his national team ended up in a group with Ukraine, Albania and Georgia.
"The Ukraine national team is represented by excellent players. It is a strong opponent who, like us, will want to solve the problem of reaching the A division.
We recently played twice with the national team of Albania (within the qualifying cycle of Euro-2024; Czech Republic - Albania - 1:1, Albania - Czech Republic - 3:0 - ed.) we know how unpleasant opponent it is. Two very difficult matches await us.
As for the national team of Georgia, this team will surely have a lot of quality performers. And they will surely want to achieve the best possible results in the group," the official website of the Czech Football Federation quoted Černý as saying.
