On Friday, 9 February, Dynamo Kyiv held another control match within the framework of the off-season training camp in Turkey. The opponent of the Ukrainian team was North Macedonian Shkendija.
Control match
"Dynamo (Kyiv, Ukraine) - Shkendija (Tetovo, North Macedonia) - 1:1 ( 0:1)

"Dynamo": 1.Buschan (35.Nescheret, 46), 2.Vivcharenko (44.Dubinchak, 61), 4.Popov (34.Sirota, 61), 32.Mikhavko (25.Dyachuk, 61), 20.Karavaev (90.Gusev, 50; 92.Ramadani, 69), 6.Brazhko (18.Andrievskiy, 61), 10.Shaparenko (8.Shepelev, 46), 29.Buyalsky (K) (37.Tsarenko, 61), 22.Kabaev (77.Diallo, 61), 91.Voloshin (30.Diallo, 61), 11.Vanat (21.Supriyaga, 61).
"Dynamo" started this match quite actively and created several chances in the opening period. Already on the 4th minute of the match Shaparenko after Vivcharenko's pass from the left flank broke into the penalty area of Shkendija and shot from 12 metres - the ball flew over the crossbar. Soon another attack of Dynamo ended with a shot by Kabaev from about 11 metres, but it was blocked. And on the 8th minute of the match Kabaev broke through the left flank, passed to the central zone to Voloshin, who shot from 14 metres and the ball hit the crossbar of Shkendija's goal.
But the North Macedonian team not only withstood this initial onslaught of the opponent, but soon began to "show their teeth". First, Ademi went one-on-one with Buschan, shot from outside the penalty area, but the Dinamo goalkeeper managed to kick the ball away. Then Cinari played on the rebound after Buschan parried Ademi's dangerous shot and sent the ball into the Dinamo goal, but the goal was not counted - offside. And on the 26th minute of the match "Shkendija" managed to achieve success: Ademi stretched the ball to the penalty area of the "white-blue", gave the ball to the left to Shala and he opened the score with a whip shot from the penalty area - 0:1.
After this goal, the match began to be held with excessive emotion and rigidity on the part of both teams. In these conditions it was difficult to count on scoring chances, but at least in two episodes of the game the score could change. Firstly, Popov headed the ball into Shkendija's goal after Brazhko's feed, but the goal was not counted - offside. And a couple of minutes before the half-time whistle Krasnići shot from 27 metres, and this shot caught Buschan by surprise - he converted the game to a corner with great difficulty.
After the break Dynamo tried to play actively in attack and on the 60th minute of the match it brought the result. The Kyivians' attack ended with Kabaev's shot and Vanat almost from the goal line put the ball into Shkendija's goal - 1:1.
In the remaining time of the match Dynamo, of course, were looking for chances to snatch victory, but they had no clear opportunities to change the score in their favour. And in general, this period of the match was rather hectic, although under the sign of positional advantage of the Ukrainian team. As a result, it was a draw, 1:1.
Oleksandr Shovkovskiy's team will play their next friendlies next Monday, 12 February, against Latvian RFU.
