Real Madrid's Ukrainian goalkeeper Andriy Lunin has received support from the club's president Florentino Perez.
The 2023/2024 season is already Lunin's most successful in Madrid. Andriy has already taken part in 15 Real Madrid matches in all competitions, in which he conceded 13 goals and scored zero goals in 6 matches. The Ukrainian completely supplanted Kepa Arrizabalaga, who was on loan from Chelsea, although the Spanish goalkeeper was the favourite of the team's head coach Carlo Ancelotti, but now even his choice has changed in favour of Lunin.
Lunin also received a solid promise for the future from Real Madrid president Florentino Perez. The owner of the Madrid club has already told how much playing time Lunin will receive in the next season, 2024/2025, when Thibaut Courtois recovers. Lunin will play in the Champions League and Spanish Cup matches. Instead, the cream of the crop will be relying on the Belgian in La Liga.
"You won't complain anymore because now you'll play more," Perez said.
They also hope for the Ukrainian goalkeeper this season. After all, Perez admitted that Lunin had won the competition from Kepa, who will return to Chelsea at the end of the season.
It will be recalled that today, at 19:30 Kyiv time, Real Madrid will host Girona in the central match of the 24th round of the Spanish championship.
Андрію вдачі, спокою, впевненості і без травм!
