After the match, Oleksandr Khatskevych came to the locker room to congratulate the Ukrainian team. The coach tried to speak Ukrainian.

"The main victory is for Ukraine to be here. The best thing is when you are at home, but the reality is that we cannot be at home now, unfortunately," Khatskevich said.

As a souvenir, Oleksandr Mykolayovych received a personalised shirt with the number 2 (under which Khatskevich played for Dynamo) from the hands of the Ukrainian national team coaches.
