Shakhtar's new star: "They called me to Dynamo"

Shakhtar's 17-year-old midfielder Viktor Tsukanov, who is already being moulded into a new star like Mudryk and Sudakov, claims he could have joined Dynamo.

- He played for Zvezda U-14 in the DUFL. I came to Dnipro for a viewing - it was my first viewing at all. And then I found myself in Shakhtar's academy - I immediately wanted to stay there. They called me to Dynamo, but I said I wanted to go to Shakhtar. Since childhood, I have been rooting for this team and dreamed of getting there," Tribuna quotes Tsukanov as saying.
