Despite the loss of a player, Nice managed to equalise in the 74th minute when E. Goussan hit the net, much to the delight of the hosts. However, the joy was short-lived as Monaco quickly responded with a goal from A. Golovin in the 77th minute. At the end of the match both teams made another substitution. In the 79th minute Monaco brought on T. Minamino instead of M. Aclusz, and in the 80th minute F. Balogun replaced A. Golovin. Nice also made a substitution in the 75th minute: H. Boudaoui replaced R. Perrault, and in the 83rd minute G. Laborde came on in place of M. Cho. As the final whistle approached, the tension grew again: D. Zakaria and E. Guessan received yellow cards in the 83rd minute, and in the 90th minute J. Ndayishimiye of Ndaiyishimiye received yellow cards. Ndayishimiye from Nice. In the 90th minute, Monaco made their last substitution, replacing M. Camara with E. Diop. In a thrilling match, which demonstrated the talent and determination of both teams, Monaco won 3-2. This match had everything - goals, cards, substitutions - and the fans were on edge until the very end.
