Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti commented on the nature of midfielder Braim Diaz's injury.
- "I can see that Braim has become stronger since his time in Milan. Diaz always helps the team. Today he scored an incredible goal, we have to recognise his performance. I think Braim has a bruise, not a muscle problem," said Carlo Ancelotti.
It will be recalled that in the first leg of the Champions League last-16, Real Madrid defeated RB Leipzig 1-0 away from home. Braim Diaz scored the only goal in the match.
