Georgy Sudakov: "I would like to apologise for the photos published from my holiday in Dubai"

Shakhtar midfielder Georgiy Sudakov explained to Tribuna.com how he ended up on holiday in Dubai during the team's training camp in Turkey.

"We were given three days off. I wanted to meet my family. We had a choice: either they would come to us in Turkey, or I would come to Dubai, because my family had a transplant there. We decided to meet in the UAE because it meant we could spend one day longer with our family.

I would like to apologise for the photos that were published. I think it was wrong in this day and age, it should not have been done. I understand that many people are unable to go on holiday or meet their families now, and these photos are inappropriate," Sudakov said.
