Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp has been named the English Premier League Coach of the Month.
Surprisingly, the German was named the best coach of the month for the first time since May 2021. In the voting for the title of the best coach of January, the 56-year-old was ahead of Arsenal's Mikel Arteta, Manchester City's Pep Guardiola and Luton's Rob Edwards. Last month, Klopp's men won three league games - Newcastle (4-2), Bournemouth (4-0) and Chelsea (4-1).
After 24 rounds, Liverpool is first in the Premier League standings, two points ahead of Manchester City, with a game in hand.
