Former Dynamo Kyiv coach Mircea Lucescu has visited the training camp of his former team at the off-season training camp in Turkey. This was announced by the specialist himself, commenting to the Romanian press on his yesterday's visit to the training of Dynamo Bucharest.
"I did not manage to see the match of Dinamo Bucharest with Farul in the last round of the Romanian championship - at that time I was in Turkey at the invitation of Dynamo Kyiv, I received a call from there.
As for my visit to the training of Dinamo Bucharest, I came because I knew that the players of the team needed my presence. I greeted them and supported them. Of course, I talked to the head coach of Dinamo Zeljko Kopic, whom I also supported. It was hard for him after a four-match losing streak. I help him with advice, encouragement. Such things can greatly change the mood of the team.
Romanian football needs Dinamo. We can no longer afford to lose the great Romanian brand. I am sure that Dinamo will revive, there is an extraordinary strength behind it, which is given by the club's fans.
I see that everyone at Dinamo wants me to become their head coach. I don't want to get anyone's hopes up yet, but I will go to the team's match against Ocelul (in the next round ofthe Romanian championship - ed.)," the Romanian media quoted Lucescu as saying.
