Oleksandr Golovko, the famous Dynamo Kyiv defender of the late 90s of the last century, told how he could have ended up at English Liverpool after the end of the season-1997/98.
"Yes, I did go to Liverpool for viewing. But the transfer didn't materialise because of commercial issues and lack of modern management.
Do I regret not moving to Liverpool. No. Look, I had a Champions League semi-final with Bayern a year later. Anyway, I don't regret anything in this life. If something happened, it means that it had to happen," Golovko said on the air of Youtube channel "Pershe Online Radio Shkola".
