Argentine forward Lionel Messi has handed over his eighth Ballon d'Or to the Barcelona Museum, journalist Miguel Blasquez reports on his Twitter page.
Interestingly, all 7 of his previous Ballon d'Ors. Messi received as a Barcelona player. That's why all the awards are in the museum of the Catalan club. Despite the fact that the Argentine won the eighth Ballon d'Or as a player of Inter Miami, he still handed the award back to Barcelona.
It should be reminded that Messi played for Barcelona from 2004 to 2021. He played 781 matches, scored 676 goals and provided 237 assists.
